It had a rabid fanbase back then full of the new Wii Generation Nintendo fanboys. This game was the hypejob back then. Kind of like how Ultimate is now only there is a legimate game that is just vastly stonger than it(BOTW) so it has no chance unlike 2010 when Brawl was probably the strongest game in terms of how popular it was back then. But only at that time. Fast forward 5 years and the game went down the shithole. Also I don't buy this theory that FFX would have beaten it because Brawl got antivoted. You're forgetting the Fanbase overlap. Zelda had it over smash in abundance. Even though MM was probably weaker the Nintendo overlap and LAW manage to help MM pull through. I just would not have trusted FFX to beat Brawl at all. I just wouldn't have. FFX might have been antivoted more for beating Zelda. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
