The sad irony is that despite the US's for-proft hospital system, they're woefully under-resourced and understaffed due to a desire of keeping costs low

After all, it's a "waste" of money to buy a bunch of machines that collect dust on shelves, supplies that go unused, and beds that are not being filled

But now that there's a serious pandemic on our hands, this shortsightedness and penny-pinching is biting everyone in the ass


But the rich made a few billlon of health care last year so it's all good..........for them.
