Don't people there freak out over snow storms and blizzards?

Anyway I was lucky and found toilet paper and bought a couple of packages.

Also bought two 24pks of beer and some food.

Maybe it will last a week.

Don't know about next month or next year.

Soon production and transport of many things will stop because either they'll get locked down or the people who make and transport things will be dead and gone.

Nah, we don't get a ton of snow here. We rarely get a big storm or something, but it has never been this bad.

The worst I can remember is an ice storm from several years ago. Power lines froze over and broke, leaving several people without power in very cold temperatures for days if not weeks. That definitely got pretty bad, but I don't think the sheer hysteria hit the levels of what we're seeing now.

Oh, and we also regularly get tornadoes, but nobody really cares about those most of the time. They're such a regular occurrence that most people just kind of watch them for a bit without really worrying unless it's a special situation, like a big one hitting a town directly, such as with Joplin a number of years ago.
