I think that until the electoral college is ended, primaries would be better served if they made battleground states (defined as states they won or lost by +/- 5% last election) worth more delegates It would be more helpful to not preserve ancient prerogatives for states like Iowa that barely fucking matter, which thus shape the momentum of the rest of the elections in unnatural ways.
