Let's put it this way. A person who is 10x richer than you is not only 10x better off, they're also 10x more able to get richer than you. The gains from wealth are exponential so inherently the tax should be exponential too. They pay more money, but that money is easier to come by so is less of a contribution relatively. A person with no spare money has no means to get more income but if they had some money then they would have the means to get more. Giving everybody some spending money means that everybody can get exponential growth. If Jeff Bezos who's at a level of planetary saturation of financial growth get more money, that money has limited growth. This is bad for the economy. --- Doctor Foxx posted...
