Superman as being almost objectively bad if it couldn't crack the billion-dollar mark at the box-office while a decently well-reviewed R-rated prestige drama about Batman's arch-nemesis could. Early DCEU is still a trainwreck I can't look away from. Almost want to actually watch the films just to see if they're really that bad.
