When it comes to Belgium, most foreigner will praise Antwerp and Brussels as the go-to tourist cities here. They have architecture you won't find in the US and are usually the only 2 Belgian cities anyone can name. They see it on pictures or in movies and think "how quaint" As a Belgian I find that hilarious as both cities are crime ridden and filthy with a general attitude of "fuck off".
