Slight frustration that a lot of people who were on board with the Oscars sucking suddenly doing a total 180 just because the right movie won for once. boxing has a bunch of championship belts, and no one gives a shit about them... unless the best fighter in the division holds it. then everyone cares about it. the awardee gives credibility to the award itself --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
