Topic	Sakurai officially confirms there's too much Fire Emblem in Smash.

Like if you're a Fire Emblem fan, fine, good on you mate. But complaining there's too much Zelda representation when most Nintendo fans want more, is a weird hill die on. Zelda is a action adventure game series while Fire Emblem is a strategy RPG series, so obviously Fire Emblem's gameplay appeal is more narrow, and despite having much more fleshed out characters and plots, gameplay appeal is almost everything when it comes to selling games. Zelda is obviously more popular outside of Japan for the most part, but both series have had their share of considerable successes and failures. Complaining about too many Link iterations in Smash is a valid complaint regardless of who makes it.
