Schumer straight up asked Roberts if he was aware of the fact that the Chief Justice broke ties in the Johnson trial and Roberts said he was and went on to state that he doesn't consider those "isolated cases, 150 years ago" to give him that power here. Also before that McConnell's schedule was read out and it looks like the differences from what I had in my other post is that closing arguments are now 4 hours not 6 (and they start at 11 AM when I think all other days have started at 1 PM but whatever) and they are adjourned from Monday whenever they're done with those arguments until Wednesday at 4 PM where they will immediately hold the final vote so I guess no deliberation period. unless this is all theater and one of schumer's amendments adds that in but i highly doubt it --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? ...
