This is why more and more people are leaving Christianity. They are refusing to fit into the modern era when they say things like this.

While I am a wayward believer myself, the latter part doesn't make sense in the context of religion. You don't change your belief system because the world around you has, that's secularism.

You can change your OPINIONS or how you convey a message, sure, but if the very doctrine changes then you have no framework.
