It was different enough from other Mega Man games and wasn't a platformer. I think its a game for people like me...people who don't really care about platforming too much. There's nothing wrong with liking it. When you say "People like me" you're just tiptoeing around saying how niche of a marketplace it has tho. Honestly, companies should just do low budget sequels and just make them as if they would of came out on the same, or even next gen console. That way they don't flush a bunch of money down the train and we get to pretend we live in an alternate universe where the sequel actually got released without a huge gap in between. Kind of like what they did with MegaMan 9 & 10 now that I think about it lol. I'm guessing those still take a lot of mind power tho. So it probably isn't cheap regardless.
