The only white male candidate who has a chance of winning is Trump. I don't agree with voting race or sex over the issues, but the Democrats need to find a candidate who can win. And, sadly, a white guy is going to be viewed by many as a continuation of white male hegemony. It shouldn't be that way, but I understand that people want a new president. It'd be like if every movie (save one) had a white male lead. They want someone who represents them. I don't think even a VP is enough. Many on the left want a person of color as the candidate.
