how is silent hill homecoming any more of a silent hill game than 4? Homecoming has a massive decrease in puzzles, mostly linear levels and horrible combat that wants to be RE4 with melee weapons (in which they give you a knife that stunlocks every enemy in the game because double helix is a horrible dev)

as weird as sh4 is, it feels infinitely more like a silent hill game. Homecoming is a western developer desparately attempting to soullessly drag the series into "modern" conventions while on a directive to cram as much shit from the terrible movie into the game as possible

It literally does nothing like Silent Hill. Like nothing.

Homecoming has plenty of silent hill things and the first world change is awesome. It does just put silent hill enemies in cause theyre from other games or movies. You run around a town like silent hill.

Silent hill 4 should literally only be called The Room but then no one would play or like it.
