His co-conspirator, Michael Cohen, is in jail right now for crimes he committed together with Donald Trump.
So...no, I'd be surprised if the courts didn't find him guilty of some crimes.
Not like it would be the first time he's been on the wrong side of the law, either--he was caught defrauding people with Trump University, he settled for $25 million. He was caught refusing to rent apartments to black people, and then caught refusing to follow a court order to allow black people to rent his appartments, got punished by the courts both times. He was just recently found to be illegally using funds in his charities, paid out $2 million for that. He has a history of breaking the law, and getting caught.
Now, I'm not holding my breath that he'll face jail time or anything--he usually manages to wiggle out of these situations by paying a fine and going on with his life. But it's a safe bet that the feds will catch him in more crimes--the story about the fraudulent use of his charity and the money he was forced to cough up was...like...30 days ago.
Not gonna happen. You really shouldn't reduce yourself to wishing for something so silly.
