ok so let me get this straight. people referring to IVs & natures are talking about the same game mechanic (3-4 increase/decrease in two select stats). the -stat can be "undone" through merging with a duplicate. so why are IV calculators out there if it shows you which stats are affected ingame? was that information just not always available in-game?

so to get the best possible version of that unit all you need is the correct +stat because all other variables (rarity, skills) are controllable through grinding? if i merge a 4 star with another 4 star to get rid of its bad stat, and then increase rarity it loses the stat bonuses but the bane stays away?

skills are basically like movepools and all of them are obtainable eventually? i can safely build towards having the theoretical best version of that unit as long as i get lucky with the nature and do the rest through grinding/inheriting/merging?

so i guess the question becomes, is it worth it training a unit to 5 star if they don't have the right +stat?

When you summon a unit there's a exclamation mark if it's the first time you've ever gotten them.

but does your hero catalogue show previously owned units or only the units on hand? does it work like an in-game Pokedex or do i need to have a living dex.
