It's beautiful graphically, and the gameplay evolves in a really fun way as you progress, although by the end, you have so many powers and abilities, it can be difficult to hit the right button on the fly when you're in a tough spot. Thankfully, you can save instantaneously most of the time, so it doesn't hurt too much to die and have to redo things. The soundtrack is simple but haunting. It doesn't have traditional boss fights, per se, but you have escape segments after each dungeon, which can be really thrilling and tense. also I'm watching the credits and friggin' Ted Woolsey is listed in here whoa --- ...
