If this matters to you, and I mean this, your friends will be there regardless. They will get it if you are trying to get with a girl and you need to set them aside here and there. If your friends are good friends, it won't hurt your relationship with them at all. They will let you do your thing and understand.

You don't have to listen to me, i'm 38, I dated for years and years before I got married, i've seen the ins and outs, i've seen what friends have gone through. Most importantly, I still have a couple of those friends that made the same mistakes over and over, and continue to do so, and not learn from those mistakes. They are still single. I'm solely speaking out of experience. Others may feel differently.

The worst thing you can do is be overbearing, and that's my opinion on the matter. I hope this works out for you, and i'll check back in to see how it goes.
