You can see in their second force bond scene that when the connection is interrupted, Kylo has rain on his glove. The fact that he has rain from Luke Skywalker's hidden island on his glove from this force connection, if nothing else, sets up that shit can be transferred physically through this connection. I absolutely think that the force connection shit is super forced and stupid, but at the bare fucking minimum, I think having Kylo Ren get some rain on his glove from TLJ is a set up to transferring shit through the force.
