Sony had no standards for third party devs and it was cheaper to make PS games anyway. Xbox is eternally a pariah in the Asian market. Playstation is the ultimate choice for third parties. It's no wonder that the only failed Sony systems are the PS3 and their handheld line. They all launched at a price that put off devs because they knew they would not sell, and they lost a shit ton of former Sony exclusive franchises. Look at the explosion of JRPG's on Xbox starting with the 360. Look at main Final Fantasy going multi platform and Square Enix making games on the Wii, even creating exclusive Nintendo franchises. PS4 was less money this time around, and Sony was also forced to step up their in house game efforts, even though most of the games Sony makes are still overrated to hell and back. --- It's not the end of the world, but we can see it from here. <cite>Fony posted [p:931879260] in REAL TALK:...
