Topic | What do you dislike about Christianity? |
Extreme_light 12/21/19 12:45:13 AM #35: | It's just seem like a bunch of grand tales stem together to build on a sense of morality and community. You expect me to believe a man turn water into wine, parted the sea, built an ark for two of every animal, that entire cities were destroyed because of unchecked lust and sins, that a man walked on water, a man died and came back, that someone supposedly saw the end of time? I am expected to believe in meanings that could be interpreted differently? Why are there three religions sharing a similar process? Why do a majority of them detail events that happened or things that are like the Great Flood or some after-life? Why wouldnt the Christian God struck down the false idols of another religion? Why allow them to proper if you want people to find you, somehow? But my key breakaway for me was homosexuality. I was raised to believe that this was morally wrong, and a sin deserving of hell. But why? I'm a good person, not perfect but this thing I can't control condemned me already? Yeah bullshit. Especially when there are other "restrictions" that we don't follow today, they LOVE to apply it to gays to disguise bigotry. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
