| AlisLandale 12/20/19 9:50:51 AM #13: | What I love about this is the chaos it creates. The narrative defending TLJ was that the haters simply review bombed it and were a vocal minority. But now the audience score shoots up. You can say "nerds love the shitty nostalgia", thereby validating user scores and admitting that people didn't like TLJ, or you can say "user scores don't matter", whereby you lose any argument of hypocrisy against TLJ's detractors. And those same detractors who use user scores to trash on TLJ can either stand by them, thereby validating RoS as a good movie, or ignore them, and lose their evidence that audiences hated the movie.
