And in this specific context the personal corruption and power abuse was treasonous.

Funneling US taxes into your own businsesses is an abuse of power.
Withholding senate approved foreign aid to make other world leaders dig up dirt on your rivals to try and tarnish them to make it easier to be elected is treason.

Not my fault if you choose to ignore reality.

"WE won't agree with you unless you lie" isn't a stance I want to adopt. Trump commited treason. Defending him is pretty crazy and it makes me sad that people claiming to be conservatives do so. They should be the outraged ones.
