He is calling out the Republicans for deflecting every single argument that the Democrats are making buy just gasslighting the issue ("The president didn't do anything wrong, and this is just a partisan ploy."). You're naive to think that the Republicans are winning any political debate when they have zero ammunition. You cannot debate the fact that the president lied and is unwilling to admit that he extorted the Ukranian government.
