Topic	Watching Avatar the last airbender. Why are the fire nation evil/the bad guys?

But... doesn't it seem like Sokka and Katara are older than Aang too? They're certainly taller. Just wondering because Aang seems to have a thing for Katara but she only ever pays attention to the guest of the week like that one earth bender or the handsome Jet.
