The earlier it's communicated, the better; if they're cool with it, great, if not, you've saved each other a sour moment down the line. well i mean if you are hanging out with a buddy, you don't need to know what's in their pants. it's not your responsibility to tell your bros / girlfriends any more than that unless there's potentially going to be more. same thing with acquaintances, obviously. ...
