| Perascamin 12/15/19 5:10:19 AM #57: | When I was in fourth grade, we had an assignment where we were asked to imagine ourselves as slaves during the the height of the Underground Railroad and describe what our lives would be like. We were a 98% white school. The assignment gave us cutout faces of boys and girls and we had to color them as "black" with a brown crayon, there was a piece of clothing beneath the face which became the lines of text for "describing your life as a slave" --- I've grown. ...
