Other justices of the peace at Wacos courthouse squared their personal religious beliefs with the law by declining to perform all weddings, whether they were for same-sex or opposite-sex couples. Does this mean they stop taking up assignments for marriage certification or are they literally refusing to do their job by not marrying people?
