I don't believe recording a song takes thousanda of people. But lets look at a game. A game comes out on NES. It does well. It makes a ton of money. The people who made it get paid for many yeara. NES becomes obsolete. No more printings of said game. 20 years later it is sold in the virtual console store from Nintendo. Nintendo gets upset that people are distributing said game for free.
