14.8 lb turkey, says it should take 3 days, maybe 4 (some sources said 1 day per 4 lbs, others 1 per 5 lbs)

I put it in the fridge early Saturday evening, a day earlier than I'm "supposed" to, and the freaking inside is still frozen solid. :(

I gave up trying to get the damn neck out after like half an hour (including soaking it in cool water for 15 minutes), just gonna let it cook for an hour then try again, maybe....

At least the giblet bag was right at the edge of the neck hole, so it came out without much effort.
