Black here. I havent voted republican but I can understand those that do. For years, Dems have promised blacks this and that, and often times, weve got nothing but empty promises. Most Democratic cities have the black areas usually patrolled by police who literally traffic drugs into poorer black regions (like Baltimore) , poverty is high, and dem politicians havent done a thing to help their folks out.

I think many blacks people are waking up to things, but traditionally, blacks are actually more conservative on social issues than many think. On top of that, black people dont want a bigger govt but a smaller one because big government has done nothing for blacks thus far.

I totally get it. Democrats use black people as pawns but dont really do much to change anything. I think the biggest eye opener was Barack Obamas presidency and how it did little for the black community. I believe thats why Trump had a higher black vote than in the past Republicans

Makes sense but why not just abstain from voting rather than voting for a party that doesnt positively support black Americans. When I see or hear something like that, it makes me think this individual has been sheltered from republicans or is a ....

I hate to say it, but black unemployment is actually down with Trump. Thats good enough for many blacks. Go watch black YouTube and see how many blacks are actually starting to become pro-Trump, believe it or not. Also, like I said, socially, many blacks are actually pretty conservative, like not supporting abortion, Planned Parenthood, and LGBT issues.

Also, especially this past election cycle, Democrats talk a lot about race and bring up race issues. But a reason why blacks arent going for a Kamala Harris and Cory Booker is because theyll pander to blacks by doing some Black panther poses or whatever, but when asked specifically about supporting blacks, she laughed it off. This video alone is a reason why she has little black support.

So now either blacks are switching parties or not voting at all. But the Democrats had their chance with Obama, nothing. And now with neo-lib folks like Joe Biden , who supported those incarceration bills in the 90s, why would the black vote be necessarily high for that? People are starting to make their own decisions.

I think its best to listen to people. Rather than just well why they dont just do this? like were a bunch of mindless sheep.
