I've been thinking about this a little bit:

You have fans, who are (literally and figuratively) the biggest losers in the Phil "circle". They throw money at Phil (whether it is with good intentions or not is irrelevant), but they will never get satisfaction for it. Phil is never grateful for the money he gets, because he feels like he is owed it. It is never enough in his black hole of debts, bills, etc. And the second you stop being useful to Phil, he will throw you under the bus faster than you can blink. These people are for some reason giving Phil their (sometimes hard earned, or pissing away their late wive's inheritance) while that money is SOOOO much better spend on literally anything else.

On the opposite side you have the "detractors". They are the winners in this "circle". They are just here to enjoy the slow burn, the train-wreck as it happens. As much Phil loves to say they are nothing without him, if Phil was gone they will just find someone else to laugh at. At worst, this group just loses bits and pieces of time. They are just here to laugh, and are no worse for wear.

And in the middle of it all, is Phil. It doesn't matter how much money he makes, he is never going to be satisfied, it is never going to be enough. He has burned every single bridge in every relationship he ever had, possibly save for his parents. He leads an incredibly shallow and unfulfilling life. He might seem like the big winner in this circle, but given he finds no enjoyment in what he does, the money he makes and the life he leads, but he is just an empty shell of a human being. Even the big Twitch paychecks aren't enough to keep him happy anymore.

And lastly, the group who are the big winners in the circle that is Phil: the people who are blissfully unaware of Phil's existence. They lose neither money nor time on him, never get pissed off at him or get scolded by him. They are truly blessed.
