For one, a self-survey is not a diagnosis. Also, a self-survey can also be easily misled, as they only were able to interview people interested in being interview (meaning those who do the survey are more likely to fit in the category they were after - those who believe they are transgender; those who refused to complete it or refused to release the data are not counted). The study was also only done in 19 states, yet it is claimed to be that they are showing percentages for every state, and only 150,000 people answered the question out of the possible 400,000 who took the survey.

First of all, "transgender" is not a medical diagnosis, it's a personal identity. Second of all, the survey response rate for the study was between 40.5% and 48.7% both figures of which are well within the bounds of the typical response rates for surveys of this scale. You should probably look into taking some basic science literacy courses since you clearly have no idea how data is gathered from research studies.

There are more than just the Olympics in terms of sports. There are at least a few cases of Transgenders competing and coming in the top brackets.

and this is what it ultimately comes down to; someone heard of "at least a few cases" of transwomen winning in sports and that has to mean it's a serious problem. of course, they never actually have any data to prove what percentage of sports titles are held by trans athletes, or what percentage of trans athletes are winning events or any other data whatsoever that would actually demonstrate their conclusion, and if someone actually does bring up data, they'll engage in whatever bad science necessary to discredit it. all they know is that have very strong feelings about something and they build their arguments backwards from that conclusion. the only thing they know is that sometimes trans athletes win, and they'd only be satisfied that they never won at all. frankly, most of them would prefer if transgender people didn't exist at all period, but this fight is just one on the way to that goal.
