I remember Antagonist, Inc. on AOL, but not enough to be nostalgic about it. I spent a lot of time there, but remember other parts of AOL more vividly.

For a paid user service that would literally suspend your ability to use it if you broke their Terms of Service, there were some real fucking freaks on AOL. I remember going into some of the Christian chatrooms just to see what was going on, and it was basically everything you ever hated about religious baby boomers, plus the occasional pedophile (those were everywhere, but they were particularly bizarre in Christian chatrooms, surrounded by super conservative shouty old people).
