i just read the relevant chapters in the textbook long before the exams, and write down anything that's key but hard to remember in detail (formulas or whatever). sometimes it helps to have a few pages at the front or end of your notebook specifically for writing formulas/theorems/principles, etc.


This is a little hard to do given what Im studying.

try to read to understand, not read to memorize, and try to understand things as early as possible in the course as you can, not late in the course. just make yourself an expert on the topic, using the textbook and class as resources to help accomplish that.


Now THIS is a lot doable.
