Yeah that is definitely a good idea. I have anxiety too but it is weird with me. Going into a place and ordering and waiting is no big deal at all for me. In fact I handle it really well. I think having a specific thing to do really helps... it's like I'm on a mission as opposed to just being out in public randomly and aimlessly. I guess also the self-awareness I have of my poker face kinda makes it that much better. The anxiety of thinking others can see your anxiety on you perpetuates itself -_- so like when I know I'm just another random face in the crowd, I can just be that and not really even think about it let alone worry about it. I don't go to starbucks but when it comes to picking up dinner from wherever on my way home, I either just go in and wait (some places are really quick) or I call ahead if they aren't known for being really quick.
