Ironically, the Battlefront made by the same guys that did Battlefield made the least Battlefield like Battlefront game the franchise has ever seen. Exactly. Part of the reason at the time is because people were bitching about how they don't want EA to turn it into Star Wars: Battlefield, not realizing that Star Wars: Battlefield is exactly what they want because that's what the original games were. So DICE tried to come up with a way to not make their first Battlefront game "Battlefield in a Star Wars skin" (a.k.a the original Battlefront games...).
