They are different games...the "standing around" is 40 seconds of chess with the coaches trying to outsmart the other team and once the ball is put into play it's some of the best athletes in the world trying to do that job. If you think it's just standing around and boring then that's on you but don't be so obtuse to think it's not an extremely taxing game. Until they start waiting until the last second to spike the ball or call a Time Out. Look, I know that's football, but that's my point, it's lame and stupid and boring. I want to see some game play, not them standing around. I guess the biggest issue/question I have is why Americans like it so much. Americans, in general, like action. Football has little action, and the big plays are quickly over as well. Hockey has huge hits and the play never stops. I don't understand why Americans are not more into this --- ...
