Episode 1 - Shows the Jedi Order and the Republic in turmoil, Anakin turning to the Dark Side, ends with President Palpatine declaring martial law and anointing Anakin as Darth Vader. Big duel between Anakin and Obi Wan near the end.
Episode 2 - Remmants of the Jedi Order start the first stages of rebellion against the Empire, while Vader hunts then down. Climax with epic ass Jedi vs Sith battle. Sith win, Obi Wan escapes to meet with Yoda and find Luke. Vader gets injured in the fight, necessitating a respirator mask that predicts his final look.
Episode 3 - Rogue One but good, also more Vader stuff. The climax basically passes the torch of the narrative from Vader to the Rebellion in preparation for episode 4.

I made this topic trying to avoid continuity errors. Anyone got an explanation as to how Leia remembers Padm, but Luke doesn't?
