I mean, it looks cheesy and goofy and dumb, but I don't really have a problem with that. I think it'll still be terrible, but at least it made me smile. I wonder how much of the movie they changed aside from the new CG on Sonic? That Green Hill Zone part wasn't in the original cut, and I'm betting some of the full CG sequences are probably new too. In the original script wasn't it supposed to be that Sonic had been in our world for years? It looks like in this cut it's been more recent, and I feel a lot of the "Sonic goofing around in our world before he's discovered" stuff is new.
