A thought occurred to me: How much money would Phil make if he didn't constantly beg? Let's say he only had a couple minutes each stream to mention tips, cheers, etc., and otherwise he had to let his content speak for itself in determining whether or not people wanted to donate. No talking about taxes or slow streams, no crying that he might lose his house, no bringing up his empty bank account. He has to go out and put on the best show he can and hope that people are generous, sort of how a more reputable streamer might operate.

Realistically, I think his income would drop by three-quarters or more if people weren't constantly inundated with the idea that he is in financial crisis.

Easy, he would lose most income.
