As for OP, I wish I had the resolve to not be a fatty.

So adjust your diet and exercise. Start easy, a ton of people give up because they start too hard from the start.

I think you are way more likely if you figure out why you eat, what emotion function it serves and if there is another way to achieve that same function.

Also I'd recommend water fasting for like 2-3 days, after that time your body reset some of it's cravings. It's kinda like somebody who has been drinking regularly detoxing. You get a little different cravings and hunger patterns after a "food detox".

Maybe it's tied to gut biome shit, idk.

Main things are:
1. Make sure what you are doing isn't going to kill or seriously harm you
2. Do whatever successful strategy you find easiest, don't let health bros demoralize you. Because ultimately however you go about losing weight I promise you people will tell you that you are doing it wrong.

You'd probably tell me I have an eating disorder if you knew how I ate lol.

Maybe, but lots of fat people probably do. I bet I do too.

Basically if you are very overweight and seem unable to fix it, you have an eating disorder.

I'm 5'11 at 165 LBs. Not exactly very overweight but still fat enough to notice.

Oh nevermind, I thought you had real issues.

You aren't fat at all, you might need to work on your own body image issues rather than worrying about losing the last 5 lbs or whatever.

Ah cool, I very rarely talk about this kinda stuff but. I was severely overweight as a child/early teenager and have had self esteem issues based on that my entire adult life. I suffer from bulimia and chronic depression. Are those "real issues" to you?
