Topic	so i just made rice with my 300 dollar rice cooker and fucking shit

I've been making rice via rice cooker since I was a toddler. When I moved out of the house, one of the first things I wanted to buy was a rice cooker. Until I saw the prices. Then I learned how easily made rice can be made by putting it on the stove. I also have more control over how it tastes. I've learned to season rice on stove top if I so choose. But hey, that sounds really cool. Being able to add salt and stuff to your rice while it's on the stove. Sounds life changing.
