on the other side of the family tree, house centipedes use their thin, ropey forelegs to catch and basically ensnare prey, but i gotta be honest, for as many that live in my house, I have never ever seen one catch or eat any other bug

I've been tempted to snag a house centipede and throw it in a small terrarium to see how well they take to it. But I've never had an empty tank the few times I've found a house centipede in the house. Might be interesting to see how they feed.
