It was made by Toei (same studio that made Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Pretty Cure) and basically turns the Powerpuff Girls into a magical girl anime. And I'm going to watch it just to see if it was as bad as people said it was, especially now after the 2016 reboot of the actual PPG cartoon made this look much better by comparison.
