Topic	What is the best era of FPS games?

I can't emphasize enough how if you liked Blood I'd suggest Dusk. It's more like Quake, but its love for horror is the same exact variety. Ive tried with Dusk a lot but it just doesnt land for me. I cant even quite place why or what about it doesnt work, but man Ive tried. Amid Evil is my fucking JAM tho as far as new retro FPS games go, and Ion Fury, for all its uh, issues, is arguably the best thing on the Build engine, edged out only by the pure joy of chucking a bundle of TNT into a group of screaming cultists. Fair enough. Amid Evil is also amazing, and I adore it! Look into more roguelike FPS games too. Tower of Guns and Mothergunship, Ziggurat, Immortal Redneck, and Devil Daggers are all fun in their own ways and bring me back to the old school run and dodge and gun gameplay. <cite>OctilIery posted [p:929639062] in What is th...
