Not for nothing but is there a country in the world that manufactures goods that *doesn't* have a long track record of abusing human rights? More importantly, this recent conflagration has nothing to do with China's history of abuse -- which is why the mainstream outrage is only just happening now despite the country doing crappy things for... well, pretty much ever -- but instead support for Western-backed protests designed to disrupt and weaken China.
