High Fodder for Golbez. He's the main antagonist of FFIV and central to the plotline, and his connection to Cecil should help as well. Golbez is memorable due to his intimidating design and character depth - something many game villains lacked at the time. He and Cecil also did pretty well against Luigi/Waluigi in rivalry rumble, better than Cecil would do solo against Luigi. Though it might have just been because the Luigi/Waluigi rivalry is kind of a joke.

Low Fodder for John Lennon. I think when it comes to the Beatles, it is McCartney that gets the most recognition for contributing to classic songs. Lennon obviously has Imagine and many other well-liked songs, but there are a few things I think will lose him some votes.

First is his many controversies: Yoko Ono, "The Beatles are more popular than Jesus", and his abusive treatment of his son and first wife. Second is the fact that his picture will be from Beatles Rock Band, which I believe mostly depict the Fab Four from the early Beatles era (1964 or so). They all looked similar at the time, so John will have a hard time standing out.

edit - ok it took 2 seconds for me to prove myself wrong on the second point. But I don't think the pic will make much difference either way for Lennon.

High Fodder for Picard. I don't know much of anything about TNG, but Picard is one of the most popular Star Trek characters along with Kirk and Spock. And since he is instantly recognizable, I think he is much closer to being at Spock's level than Kirk's.
