Seems what they were thinking is have Abrams set up a blank slate then bring in an actual storyteller to do something real for the Dark Middle Chapter. That's why I'm not as hopeful for ROS because Abrams' shallowness isn't as appropriate here. The one he made is my least favorite of the 8 mainline movies --- I wish we all waved ...
