I'm glad to see a little bit of backlash against this bizarre, sudden love of two bad movies as a sort of anti-Disney measure. Nothing more bizarre than the retrospective love of the prequels as a sort of exaggerated way of bashing the sequel trilogy. I don't think anyone brought up the prequels until I said "no way this can be any worse than the last one" Theres definitely been a Prequel 'Renaissance' on the internet as a backlash towards the new trilogy.
